I went to sea with the Royal Navy at the tender age of 15. After 7 years I entered the Hampshire Fire Brigade where I rose to the rank of station officer. During this time I spent 7 years seconded to the fire school at Warsash Maritime Academy in charge of practical marine and offshore firefighting.

I was employed by Western Geophysical as a sea-going fleet safety officer responsible for all safety related courses before moving to bluewater. I am currently in the Management Team as Project Manager DPA/CSO, in addition to teaching Advanced Safety Courses.
